About Justin Foster

Born in New Jersey, but I've lived in Northeast Ohio as long as I can remember!  My love for photography began in high school, more than 20 years ago!  My photography teacher at Hudson High School, Jim Roetzel, taught me how to see differently - how to use light as my "paint" - and how to use post-processing (albeit on film and in a dark room back in those days) to improve the end results.  Ever since, I've been hooked - and in 2017 started expanding to shooting more than just vacations and my kids, but taking on clients to start a Family & High School Seniors photography business that is now a passion - across the Hudson, Twinsburg, Solon, Aurora, Chagrin Falls areas and beyond!

 

I'm a photographer, but I don't simply take pictures.  Any smartphone can take pictures.  I believe in creating Images.  Images are made... crafted... honed. They emerge from a combination of artistic vision, technical excellence, careful planning, and execution with attention to detail.  Pictures show you what something looks like, but Images make you feel something! I look forward to creating professional images that tell your story.
